You can post them ewsy enough it's only a 5 minute job to burn it. Or get yourself a burner?

Yeah i can do it but your better off with a programmer of your own. We recommend gq-4x from mcumall.com but festy has recently reviewed a cheaper model here which sounds pretty good too http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic. ... 87&p=63572
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396

first off big thanks to vlt304 for the help i really appreciate it the cars running again turns out it was a combination of corrupt chip and dead ecu but now i sam still having some issues it seems to be idling at 100kpa im not sure if thats a sensor malfunction ie map or its just idling there it doesnt appeer to be a vacuum leak ive sprayed everything with either to check and it doent change the idle aslo it seems the head bolts are leaking some coolant so i gotta fix that but at least she runs again oh and i have a dead thermo too :comp:

With the engine off, start logging and suck on the MAP hose. Should be able to see some vacuum. If not then check wiring and sensor. If the original PCM died due to a faulty voltage regulator it might have put more than 5V out to the MAP sensor and fried it too.

Just bought a new map sensor figured it was done havent tested it yet but i will before i remove it just for the sake of it got myself a 3 bar this time figured it will be needed in the future and nows as good a time as any to put it in

One thing ive noticed is my chip still picks up coms errors every couple seconds or so and ive moved my wide band wiring to a relay now could the earth be causing this or should i look further at whats the cause

It is also picking up 250ish counts of knock on idle witch i dont believe so i need to find a way to filter out the false knock
