I think it is only an issue with the ALDL because of the odd speed that it communicates at
Edit: I have tested the jaycar USB to serial adaptor that I have and it works fine with the Innovate
Did you have any issues with connecting to TP after installing the drivers for the usb to serial adapter? I havent been able to try this yet because of this driver issue- the usb aldl connector is no longer recognised and comes up in win7 as unknown device..

No I have not had any issues, sounds like your ALDL USB adaptor is using similar drivers and they have been corrupted
The USB to serial adaptor does not use the FTDI chipset that my ALDL cable does so I have not had any driver issues
Try reinstalling the drivers for your USB ALDL cable

cool looks like ive got the drivers re-installed again. I guess this discussion is getting a bit off the topic of enhanced bins so ill re-direct it to here:

just an apology misinformation from me, i was calling the recommended MAF a LS1 MAF when it's actually used on LS6 engines. Here's a photo showing the LS1 Right and LS6 MAF Left. I am not sure what the LS1 MAF range is i believe they are 88mm, they also plug straight into the existing loom. The LS6 MAF needs a splitter as it has IAT sensor built in.
From the OP, this is the correct info on the MAF below and i have used it with enhanced MOD and will work upto 14710hz which matches the tables we have setup, the VS-VY PCM Hardware limit is 16,000hz we could add further tables if needed if a MAF that can scale that high is found.
Delphi Part AF10043 or GM#25168491 95mm.

so can you use the ls1 maf or will the frequency be off?

you can use whatever maf you like
It's obvious with using a bigger MAF you will get more airflow so more fuel and you will need retuning.

I have been using the ls1 maf but modified the tables using data from this thread.
https://pcmhacking.net/forums/view ... 9&start=20
Note that using the data it doesn't use all 12 tables so maybe less resolution in mass figures.
Has been working okay for me so far.

you can do it how you like, drop in a factory table for the MAF your using if you want, though there's no point really, the MAF will still output the same frequency per metered airflow regardless the code just needs a reference so it can change fuelling as airflow increases or decreases.
