That's exactly what was happening, I felt like I was chasing my tail. Just didn't seem to be able to get them any closer to 14.7.

Attached is my ve graph and the last blm log I did. I think I can safely say that fueling is ok. Now time to play with spark! :D

Thanks for your help fellas.

Just one more quick question on blm's. Attached are the blm temp settings.

Why would the blm historgram show changes to any cells if the engine is NOT operating within these temps?

The reason I ask is that my engine was logging changes when my engine temp was running at 52 degrees.

nice ve table youve got the hang of it :D closed loop will allways make blm numbers move around

Thanks mate. Couldn't have got this far if it wasn't for the help from yourself, holden202t, jayme, vl400 etc.

If closed loop always makes blm numbers move around whats the point of the high/low temp settings?

it will be using stored blm settings from version wont it ? then when its in the temp range it will be actively changing them to suit current running conditions.

if you want to be sure, disconnect the battery and that should reset the blms stored in the computer, then anything you see after that should be fresh changes.

but from your histogram above it looks like its pretty well on the money now!

Yea looks like that is what happens. I disconnected the battery then done another log and the blm's stayed at 100 until engine temp reached 80 degrees the it started to make minor changes of less than 1% to a few cells.

So does this mean that when tuning via blm's it is best to disconnect the battery after adjusting the ve table so that the blm memory is cleared meaning any changes in blm's logged on the next datalog will definitely be changing the current running condition?

Yes, it will relearn by going back towards 100% but if your logging while that is happening it may confuse things.

Grab the 12P V111 zip, have added some mode 4 commands to the ADX - one of them is to reset the BLM table.

Thanks vl400. So do you mean use the mode 4 send command to reset the blm table each time before doing a new log?

yes that correct, only needed if you have changed the VE table though.
