Fired it up with the intercooler yesterday and straight away there's a huge improvement in MATs. Dropped from way over 150c to under 70c and that's just sitting in the driveway. I have installed the 77mm pulley and scored a set of 60lb deka injectors so I will install this weekend and retune. I will also be doing away with the power steering soon too. I am optimistic for a number around 250hp.
Also installed one of vl400's excellent data loggers. It works a treat.

Injectors installed. Hunts and runs lean on closed loop. Bad O2 sensor? Wouldn't be the voltage offsets?

I probably wouldn't jump straight to the o2 sensor being faulty if you just put in larger injectors. It could be so many things! Check what the injector pulsewidths are like when its hunting, the blms during closed loop ( it might be way too rich or lean now).
You need to setup the voltage offset tables to suit the injectors and then may need to play with switching to single fire at light loads if your seeing small injector PW at idle and light loads (see here ...

Thanks VL. I think you may have hit the nail on the head with the single/double fire suggestion. As it is only lean at idle after it's up to temp. It would make sense that that is when the pulse width is the lowest. My kingflow is down around the same numbers as that other thread you mentioned. 0.042.
I have so much to learn. I didn't even know about this setting

Bye bye blm and closed loop.
Because racecar.

lol yeah never had a narrowband o2 connected in my racecar
I would love to do it though to see what it did with methanol closed loop he he

I can tell you what happened with e85. Closed loop idle the Afrs dance up to 1.2 lambda, and would probably keep going, but I shut it down in fear.

bpw was well under 1 ms, even in single fire mode. Funnily enough, with the 36lb l67 injectors, everything was fine. Once I disabled closed loop, i did have to trim some fuel out of the ve tables at idle.
Point is, it's happy now, and so am I.
Btw, narrowband is still connected, just disabled blm and closed loop by maxing out the temp thresholds. Hot tip from a mate of mine.

i never bother trying to get closed loop working with big injectors im in for power not emmisions LOL and if you dont run cats and run closed loop they stink bad at the lights idling LOL

im running 1000cc injectors in a single turbo ecotec running on an 808 and 12P. I set it to go into closed loop only during cruising, not idle, and it loves it. runs perfectly.

Hopefully I won't be spending too much time cruising

. It would be worth mucking around with for a road car, but not for my application. My friend suggested turning those things off a while ago, but I wasn't having problems the so I didn't bother.
I must say that te problems are good, as my learning curve accelerates with each one.

Can I remove the narrowband now and plug off the hole? I would just need to disable the cels relating to the O2 sensor yeah?
