If you are sharing an ALDL bus (or even speaking the protocol but TTL between directly connected devices) you'd be best to use the correct ALDL frame format and sum, but pick another unused device id. Then it could play nice on a shared bus with the rest of the car.

Been trying to get my display to work, not sure if its me or what but interested to see what people think.

Firstly the S3 jumper doesn't seem to do what its supposed to for me i get the same result with S2 as i do with S3 also ?

but the main issue is i cant get it to connect, so firstly i tried to use the info a few pages back that says to join the rx/tx lines for 1 wire interface, when i didn't get any data from that then i decided to try the TTL interface i had, its basically got RX / TX / VCC / GND inuts into the normal ALDL circuit we use for delco stuff.

I'm trying to connect it to a $11P ecu for reference.

any suggestions welcome!

If you're using high speed comms, don't use any jumpers. Did you read the info a page back with a problem in the latest batch?

im not sure on that one, at first i thought it was one of the flags or screen changes you had in the config, but after removing all of them it didnt change anything.

ignition on, engine not running, i dont get the issue, but with it running i do.

it somstimes comes back to the main screen for a bit then flicks to white for a while etc.

Could be 11P and a missmatch of the math with the variables - IAT for example stays at 0, and BPW looks way off. Might need to go over the config and your 11p ADX to make sure they're all matching
