I am very unfamiliar with the Holden and Euro gm computers. Will this work with the US 411 computer or any of the 1mb pcms......or any us pcm for that matter?

Just wanted to know if there is something I might have on the shelf that I could use to play with this program.

if the pcm you want to talk to isnt ALDL then there is no chance of it working. this is an aldl tool, so if you have an aldl interface and an aldl flash based pcm, then fire it up and have a crack. I believe USA went obd2 earlier than other countries so you might be hard pressed to find a flash based aldl pcm over there.

No this will not work on an '0411 LS1 PCM. VPW vs ALDL among other differences. There is an 0411 tool in the works, but no ETA. When its done it will require a different cable.

gotcha. I have heard of some guys doing it but I have no idea how. I think its very interesting the amount of differences between the pcms that you guys have over there compared to the ones we have in the states.

Well you guys jumped up to 32bit processors earlier than we did, but a lot of stuff is still common. We have the 0411s too, but this tool is for the earlier ALDL stuff which was in use up to about 2004 on V6 applications where you guys were on the 32bit pcms already. But on the other hand, we had the '0411 on the LS1 V8s from 1999.

Sorry in advance but I haven't read all the pages yet. Is it possible to rewrite the SRAM on my Kalmaker SP3 ecu with $12P with this software?
Hoping not to buy a burner and to make use of the real time board.

Excellent thanks, another quick one I think it will work. I have an 808 and I have on order from VL400 and SXR board and USB interface (under steering column type it's on a VR) If I fit the Kalmaker real time board to the VL400 808 could I wrire 12P to the Kalmaker SRAM via the USB interface?

You will need a programmer to do that.
