I checked the iac step counts on the log and they seem to line up with the bin counts so that seems t be working

Hi got it to run with brake vacuum hose hooked up record a logout on the street the spark advance seems to jump around a lot it doesn't like to idle cold it takes a bit coaching but improves when it warms up.

That sounds like a working non ideal tune. The computer uses spark to get a stable idle so when its not in diag mode (ground the diag pin for a static 10 degrees) it does that.

Now to start dialing it in!

Would disconnecting the hei bypass do the same thing I noticed that when the revs were around 2500-3000 RPM the
Charlie spark advance evened out along with the map and the pulse width dropped off the afr was a round 14 winch is good ?

Removing the bypass signal will tell the ignition module to generate and use a static 10 degrees. That functionality is normally only for starting, below 400rpm.

Dose he nvram have any from of self learn went on a club cruise the idle was way of and it sounded like it was missing on acceleration as if the plugs were braking down but after traveling about 100 km the car seems to be running better go figure.

Plugs probably cleaned up after all the previous trouble. Post up a pic of them?

Also the normal fuel trims would be working if the tune is out. Worth looking at some logs and check the fuel trims and learn from them to modify the main VE table. Otherwise when you unplug the battery that information will be lost and you'll have to drive to re-learn. Of course thats not a substite for tuning, just an easy first step since you noticed an improvement.
