I have difillipo 4-1's on my VR 5 litre. Absolute disaster to fit. Still gives me nightmares.
Saying that I've never had a set thats falls into place.

the pacies were spot on. the instructions came with told u exactly what to do and yeah no issues. car up on stands drivers side all done from underneathe. could have done without rack removal and all that crap but, thats how it rolls. i will put the Y piece on next weekend my back could not take any more twisting and shit, and, i'm pretty sore this morning. wheres the ibuprofen. :D

That reminds me of when I did the Coby headers on my old VN. Did them when I had the gearbox out for a new clutch, drivers side was still a PITA to get in from underneath. That extra bloody coolant pipe. The Coby headers also don't have that split pipe that goes around the other side of the steering rack.

It did sound awesome running with just the headers and Y pipe fitted :)

I hear and feel your pain....

With the Y piece. Ever thought about twin cats? I know the V8's gain from it.

Im planing to do that on my VP. Might have a custom y pipe made to suit though. not much room with the pacemaker y pipe for cats.

the pacemakers are easy to get in, especially with auto.

the key it to undo the rack and drop that out of the way and its easy street after that.

yeah me and vlad were talking about it the other day.
i did similar on a vt v6 and lost torque, but, it had twin cats twin muffler and joined before the rear resonator.
i think i will just stick with the Y piece for the meantime.

because its a slow morning and no one is here ; someone post a BW version of this so I colored it in with paint :)

vlad, yes, i dropped the rack and uni as per instructions and things got better after that :)
