I mentioned the AE just from looking at the logs, hard to tell but certainly lean when you hit the throttle in places.

The BLMs are showing 90 in places so I think some time spent adjusting the VE would also be good.

Have been for a very short run with APNX & engine feels more responsive. Will confirm once I have had a chance to do more road testing.

However looking at knock retard & knock counts in latest log, I still get retrard between gear changes & when engine load decreases. Also as a curiosity question, should not knock count & retard action be coincidence. The knock count only registers occasionally, when retard values are particularly high, not every time there is knock retard.

How close does the VE table have to be for VE learn to be able to fine tune the VE values. Now that I have a new O2 sensor, though I might enable VE learn.

VL400, just for the dummy in the house, how did you determine from my log that it was running lean at WOT.

not sure about knock on decel but re: the knock counts you miss seeing some because they are happening in between the data frames. thats why you enable knock counting in the cal and view the knock counts table in the xdf.

if the data stream were faster (IE the message6 adx which runs at 30 hz), you would see more knock counts in your logs.

By looking at the narrowband voltage, 200mV when you were at WOT. Should see a voltage greater than 700ish mV to indicate your richer than stoich when targeting 12.5 or 13:1 like you were.

Here is a log of ANPX, still have retard on up change. Maybe is normal. Will test ride ASAP for WOT & high load/high rpm kick-down to see if flat spot (3000rpm limited) problem still exists.

Hope Santa brought everyone the correct Christmas present.

Need some help with latest version (5.00.7431) of TP RT. Have successfully installed, including plugin & run ok until time to save log. Program then crashes although sometimes a log is saved. Did not have this problem with earlier versions. Have reverted to earlier version (5.00.6156) to see if my hardware is the issue although have yet to test. Anyone else had problems with RT v5.

yeah, i have seen those problems on 5.00.7xxx, using an earlyer one is a good interim solution.
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396

Thanks antus, nice to know that others have had a similar probem, saves me wasting time looking for a fault in my hardware. Will report the problem to TP.
