how about 5kpa breaks on all of the columns to make it better for using with 2 bar?

holden202 - I think GM made the tables with different breakpoints to get the resolution where its needed, so depending on the function may need more low end or high end adjustability.

Jayme - There will be a VE/spark/target AFR table for each 100kPa block (0-100, 100-200, 200-300kPa) along with two boost multipiler tables (100-200 and 200-300kPa) for those using the $12P in 2 and 3 bar applications :)

sweeeeet :D
I know its probably going to be a bit down the track but are there any plans to add the 2 bar features to the $11 code? thinking about turboing a VR ute, and trying to avoid having to change the gearbox and not keen to dodge up a 1 bar.

Hey VL400,
How much different is the soft touch rev limiter to the standard limiter?
The basic limiter is that crude that conrods/bolts would probably be better off with a bit of an over rev. At least they would not be going through cycles of full power, no power, full power etc. at peek revs.

the soft touch limiter as i understand starts cutting timing before the hard limiter is hit, so you should feel the engine die off and upshift before you hit the hard limiter!

Jayme - Yeah $11P will have all the same features as $12P

Yep, thats right holden202, there is an upper cut that is injectors off. But below that there are two stages, one reduces spark advance and the other starts to miss injector events. The closer to the upper cut the more frequent the injector cut occurs. Its not as harsh as the normal rev limit thats just on/off. The soft touch stuff is all user adjustable.

It would be nice if we could get it to miss "spark" events and ramp it to a total spark drop. A lot of JAP cars can be set to do that, its a lot more "piston friendly" than a fuel cut and can be used as 'launch control'. The Delco way will cause an average lean condition if hit, which is why you see a lot of Commodores blow their motor's at burnout comps (idiots sitting on the limiter), this problem is amplified if the car is boosted.

I could be totally wrong here but I dont think its possible to get it to miss spark events as the spark system is independent of the ecu, the ecu doesnt tell it to fire, it just tells it what timing to use when it does.
