yeah i'd be cutting it in half, get two out of it then also!

It still works ok with the long adapter. There is enough turbulence to get a correct reading.

I believe the instructions say if you have a really high exhaust temp and high exhaust flow and lots of power then use the longer bung to pull hte wideband out of the hot stream into the outskirts to save it overheating and getting damaged. (or something to that effect)

I cut the bung in half and welded it in. I mounted the sensor just before the rear gearbox mount. Hope that's far enough away where it wont get to hot.

My power is not huge. Maybe 260-270kw at the flywheel.

Hooked it all up and all works well. Haven't warmed up the engine yet but can tell it's running very rich when I first start it. 11.1 to about 12.1. Got the car half pulled apart to run the wires for the knock sensor and a/f gauge and before I put it back together I am going to add the innovate oil presure/oil temp + water temp/volts. Only problem is I cant seem to find much info on how they display both readings from the same gauge. Has anyone got these same gauges in there car?

i thought you got the MTX-L ? it has nothing else it can display as far as i am aware!!

by the way i think you'll find the commanded AFR will be close to what your seeing on startup.
