on the throttle body, theres the charcoal cannister vac hoses, pcv hoses and the map sensor hose. The fuel pressure regulator vac hose is connected to the manifold as it normally does from factory. I am aware that the fuel pressure will rise 1:1 per psi.kojab wrote:hoosedamoose I don't think you have a full understanding of how the fuel pressure reg works. The so called vac hose that goes to the fuel reg must also see boost pressure now as well as vac, if it dose not see your boost pressure the fuel pressure will not increase.
With a standard fuel reg the fuel pressure will rise at a ratio of 1:1 so for 10 PSI boost the fuel pressure will rise 10 PSI.
Can you describe all the vac lines running to the throttle body?hoosedamoose wrote: The throttle body is before the charger, so it has been relocated to the front with extended kickdown and throttle cables. It has all the necessary vac lines running to the throttle body as per normal. The map sensor and fpr are connected to the manifold as they do from factory.

I can see your problem. The Map sensor hose is not seeing your boost

As i typed out my previous message, it clicked in my head that this might be the case lol. Would this cause tuner pro to report the wrong injector d/c?

Just looking at your bin file now. Looks like its set up for 2 bar. Do you have any .XDL logs you could put up?

Re: $12p injector upgrade
The fuel PW and injector DC difference is only what gets logged in v 112, the ECU is still operating the same between the two versions.hoosedamoose wrote:VL400, just to be clear, theres no pulse width adjustment in 111? is it worth the upgrade to 112?

Re: $12p injector upgrade
Would be a good idea if you reduce the spark timing in the boost table as it is mostly on 20 degs advance. If this engine is running lean its going to be seeing the 20 deg boost table for the first time once you relocate the map sensor hose to see boost pressure. Have you got the knock sensor hooked up?

Re: $12p injector upgrade
you want to be careful, if your seeing 10psi but the map sensor is not seeing boost then you are going to risk running it lean!
get the map sensor into the boosted part of the manifold and setup the tables for boost then go and have a log, and yes if your map sensor is in the right spot it should move into 120-140kpa etc in the boost table.
highly recommend you read the $12P tuning guides that cover boost table setup which you can find in my signature.

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: $12p injector upgrade
Thank you very much for all your help guys.
Moved Map sensor T tapped it in with the FPR in the manifold, Retuned from scratch again. With the help of VL400, i figured how to calculate the proper kinjflow for this motor and injectors
all is good now. Car is tuned and running much much better with great throttle response. The ecu is now seeing boost and im hitting the boost maps. You guys have been brilliant once again! Thanks to kojab for identifying the main issue in the first place. Now seeing around 52% d/c at 160kpa WOT. hopefully theres some room for E85
