for the record this info is for VZ ... according to this there is no difference in the stems but a minor difference in the seat size and the length...
mind you .004 is probably not enough to cause too many issues ....
from what i've read the majority of the differences in the motors is the quad adjustable cams and the variable vane in the inlet manifold.

AHHH thats interesting thanks Holden202T, still can't use the LE0 styl head's in my car though as it won't have the holes for solenoids or the oil galleries.

Its hard to tell which is right.
Mine is straight out of Holdens service information but going on their earlier stuff like looking at VX,VY to refer to VT info,i wouldn't be surprised if service info is incorrect.

Re: Alloytec Cylinder Heads
Pulling another failed timing chain VZ & looks like the holes & everything is there for the 4 VCT hardware in the heads, just not sure on galleries.
So it may mean the 2vvt setup could be changed to the 4 with the correct cams & timing cover seeing the valves are so similar.

Re: Alloytec Cylinder Heads
We'll that confirms it as far as cylinder heads, there completely interchangeable my early 2005 H7A(ly7) has the same part number head as 2006 HBH(le0) which on passenger bank is 12581597.
I have a feeling the timing covers have plugs that can be removed for extra sensors too.
