Is the wideband is showing 5.8 (13.3 petrol AFR) and 7.2 (16.6) at power on during the 14point7 sequencing?

With the bin upload via TunerPro it should be ok and no different to the flashtool write cal. For interests sake before starting anything today, use the download bin arrow and save to a new bin or do a get cal with the flashtool. Would be interesting to compare it to the bin you posted earlier.

Thanks VL400. The start up sequence displayed as described.
I will load that same bin tonight via TP5 and do get bin on flash tool and see how it comes back.

even if you just upload the cal and then turn the ignition off for 10 secs then back on you should be able to log and get an AFR of 2-3 or something like that I think, if its like 10 then its obviously petrol ...

Yeah that's right so long as the cold start target afr is a methanol value should be right.

I'm not saying it should be right :P but it means the calibration has gotten there so your in the best position for it to then work!

Ok know one will believe me, I've lost any little credibility I had.
I found the log from Saturday. The way the engine ran it was definitely lean as. And the screen shot on the other page shows the target AFR as a petrol target.

I played the log back from Saturday and it displays methanol AFR.
I uploaded and downloaded the bin again with TP5 several times and it displays methanol AFR target every time.
I have the log from Saturday and from tonight (on my own car in shed) both are fine. If I had this on Saturday I might of got something done!

Same operator laptop cables ecu nvram usb adapter. Only difference is tonight i have jumpers set to V8 and using 12volt power supply not mains.

i just had a look at your injector rate, its definitely on the lean side .... I used .0436 with the sprintcar motor and deka 60's .... that might help richen it up .....

but also I'd get it up the temp and see where its at then .... could be the dodgy alternator voltage aswell as cold motor offsets making it lean ...

Thanks mate, I will look at that injector rate I used the calc but didn't any extra or I just mucked up the calc.
when I took the log on the day. I swear the target was 13.5! The screen shot even backs me up!
I had bubble tracing on and it was not hovering on any petrol AFR's!

Think I might forget about the other day, pretend it never happened!

I will adjust the injector rate and richen up the AFR's. I converted their current petrol AFR's but methanol like's richer so I read.
As Holden202T said some of these methanol tunes are still petrol with the injector rate left alone and over sized or drilled injectors fitted making up the difference.

What a head case this has been I swear it was commanding petrol AFR's but they were not in any tables.

I have a vuage memory of seeing tunerpro get in to a state once where it had not loaded a 2bar adx properly and was still running 1bar. I had to quit tunerpro and start it again and then it was fine. This was a long time ago, I dont belive it is a current problem with TP but its possible something like that happened (and had the wrong adx loaded even though it told you otherwise). If it happens again, another thing to try is restarting tunerpro.

Thanks Antus. I was wondering that last night when all was working at home.
As my laptop had been shutdown and turned off and back on since.

Unfortunately i wont be back at the car for a couple weeks now but things are looking better now.
