Kjet was used on Volvo's in 4cyl and 6cyl configuration and bosch catalogue lists one for v12
you can block off ports in the fuel distributor housingand use it on a 3 ,2 or single cylinder if you realy want to play with one
Thanks for the correction, Jenko but this Is what I wrote correctly quoted...(speaking of the bendix system)
The system was a very simple map based one, crude but kinda backtothefuture like(No to those who are thinking, the DMC Delorean uses Bosch Kjetronic-all mechanical-but still pretty interesting)which in most ways was only really built for v8's;not really adaptable to other engine configurations
yes the v12 kjet fuel distributor was at least used on a v12 maserati iirc.I Have a 4cyl one sitting the shed attached to a volvo B23 series(iirc) 4 I'm scouting around for a 6cyl setup ... commonly fitted to PRV v6's does anyone know of a wreck in a paddock near them? id like to do some experimenting....
and as for Ljet, luft is german for air, referring to measuring air.. with the air flap.

K-Jetronic is not a electric/electronic fuel injection system. It is purely mechanical. KE-Jetronic is mechanical system with oxygen sensor feedback but still I would not call it EFI. Both were constantly injecting systems. They were used in many cars during 80's - for example 4, 6 and 8 cylinder Mercedes engines, 5 cylinder Audi engines...
