Just though I'd give yas an idea of this engine and what it looks like, it's a forged bottom end with h-beams and flat tops, pavtek girdle etc. pretty much a full house engine besides having a stroker kit.. Almost everything on this engine and it's ancillaries is customised to suit. Lots of man hours and testing has gone into this. It's all fitted to a 1981 vh Sle commodore

Just a couple more things to finish off tomorrow and it will be time to hit the key next weekend!

So I prepped the engine yesterday to get ready for an attempted start up today. Flushed fuel system, fixed a couple of leaks etc. filled with coolant and primed the engine with oil. Dropped dizzy in and timed to around 10btdc. Plugged my Delco in that was loaded with Dylan's idle tune and attempted its first start since being built 3 years ago. And no shit within 3-4 revolutions the engine started and idled! Super happy to hear it run and can't thank Dylan enough for writing this bin for me! This blokes a gun, Saved me a lot of stuffing around and headaches !!
