As someone who has an 8 second drag car still running on the factory ls1 ecu. I've actually purchased 2 x elite 2500's to convert across to (1 per car obviously).

The main purpose for going to the elite is being able to control boost, bumping/staging all within the 1 ecu along with all the additional safety i can add in. It would cost me just as much in additional boost controllers etc to get the same functionality as the elite can provide me.

Haltech is junk, chased a trigger issues for 12 months on the new elite before tossing it. Stuck in an emtron and the trigger issue dissapeared :wall:

yeah but is that all haltechs or just a one off fault with the unit you had ?

I have heard the same about crank trigger issues on the haltech i swapping the ls1 pcm for a fuel tech for the same reasons as tre-cool and wanting to run to banks of injectors so it will be interesting

we've had 3 haltechs that didnt work out of the box, on 3 different cars
