not for a while, car isn't even built, let alone an engine that even started being assembled.

Cylinder cut is brutal, ignition cut/control would be the only way to go really.

I removed the cylinder cut on the missus VX and played with the available torque table so it will allow some wheel slip without it killing all power.

Can do if need be, all the parts should be ready to put the new one together soon. The old motor will be kept as a spare incase.

No, thats old ideas on how to overcome a car that doesn't handle :) The car setup and driving technique used are a more modern approach to sedan racing.

Would traction control be so simple in speedway. The amount of slip in the corner vs the straight would not be as simple. Ibeouls expect it eould require some more inputs like steering and a g sensor.

Valid points there, tyre slip isn't desireable in speedway, the fastest way around a corner on dirt isn't sidways, sideways drift on corner entry is often used to wash off speed, sideways exit from a corner is because of lack of traction - both are not the best ways to go about racing fast. Imagine how fast a speedway car would get off a corner if there was no tyre slip...

As for G force and yaw, we have electric power steering so already have the yaw sensor, G sensor is no big deal to fit either.
