Day 2.. waiting for "IT" to fix their broken VIN registration for SPS2.
This is absolutely fucking ridiculous, I cannot imagine how many workshops are losing their shit right now at them.

Found out that I will be officially migrated to it in a couple weeks also apparently.

Still waiting.. haha.
There is no way this is feasible for them to handle so many support requests. I have checked on three computers, all with the same problem.

I'm adding a fob to a 19 traverse this morning.. so far so good?? about 5 minutes into the 12 minute timer..

There was another techline disconnect update this morning for sps2, that usually happens after they have a planned and scheduled update, something gets fucked up and they have to rush out a patch to fix the fuckup..

Heard from a few people trying to use a tech2 as pass thru or remote and it totally fails.. not sure if the patch addressed that?

Also heard that GM is refusing to do anything with used modules, global A or otherwise.. Haven't seen anything from GM about that myself though.. Just programmed a used ecu 2 days ago..

GM: Knock Knock..
Me: Whos there?
GM: Not our techline connect!

Here we are again... still not working... I do always use my own stuff for programming, but in the event I do require a new calibration file or playing with new modules, I do rely on using SPS. So the fact that they think they are going to enforce everyone to the new system is going to be catastrophic.

Hi Guys,
The issues you are having is a little out of my realm. But I do question if the implementation of such limiting and more restricted reprogramming to old and new ECU's. It wouldn't have anything to do with the soon enforcement for ALL new vehicles to have a built in monitoring device (presumably part of or connected to the ECU) that will keep track of the miles done relating to it's VIN for future registration and road taxes to be paid purpose ?

No JohnDee. This thread, and GMs movement to techline isn't because of that.
