i think its actually $12 vr manual bin but its out by 3 hex addresses on one of my xdfs i would wind the dizzy back heaps im just finding the VE table

PROTUNE EVERYONE ..

mechanic may have stuffed the base timing aswell. Must check on the weekend. How to put in diagnostic mode for base timing setup?? for VR Auto???

nope, W21 is 64K, kalmaker dont make an auto bin < 64k in the W series at least.

I am 90% sure its not an auto bin man, this thing wont even run on an auto pcm. not to mention timing too high and its not really 2 bar by the initial looks, its just a hacked 1 bar at best.

on the last 304 turbo I tuneed I ran about 16 deg at 10psi boost and even then I thought I Was pushing it lol but it wasnt pinging and went like a bullet. stock 300,000km unopened 304 + T04Z + intercooler + 62lb seimens deka injectors = powa

it runs and drives...
not very well but it does
i bet its not 2 bar either..

put a paperclip between the 5th and 6th pins accross on the top row of the diag plug under the drivers dash.

I dont think it is a vr manual , have a look at aldl section it does not make sense .
How did you read the bin ,did you read it with flash tool, eprom programmer ,or is this how it was given to you as a file.

i used flash tool
while loading into the pcm, done a long search then said PCM wasnt verified..

nah it could be a copy of the capa supercharged 2bar$5d or there 2bar$12 version but it definately has the 2 peice ve tables of VR tunes

being a vr auto ecu running the wrong kind of code the flashtool may not notice what it is depending on how the ecu is processing the code manual tunes do run in the auto ecu but how they see life inside there is another issue

With the flash tool go into custom setup and change rom mapping to 0000 - ffff ,then hit get bin tab , you should get a 512 k bin .Post this up and we will probably be able to id it for you.

yeah it wouldnt be kalmaker in taht case, the flashtool detects all the workshop verisons. it migth be a hacked 1 bar factory auto..
