Yeah, it appears to be a combination of MAF curve being wrong, so it was too rich down low, where it goes when I let off the gas, as well as the impact factor table needs some slight tweaks. I didn't realize that things after the MAF could change the MAF, and my assumption bit me.
I've also learned that my wideband readings are about 0.3 AFR units lean, which wasn't helping anything, need to go back through it, its grounded to the same place as the PCM, maybe I have it configured wrong or something. For expediency's sake I've gone back to using fuel trims for tuning non-PE regions, and its all coming into line nicely.
Yeah its an aftermarket intake, but wouldn't I be able to see reverberations like that on the MAP sensor graph? Maybe the PCM filters that though, or doesn't log fast enough to see it. I wonder how I could see that...
Its also possible that my wideband is suspect, it is an ancient 14point7 unit that they don't even make anymore, from back when they first started. Its running great so I'm not terribly concerned, and I don't need this to be a speed machine, just reliable and enough grunt to haul stuff.
