The take to dealer will come up if the fuel guage is not connected
I found that out in the VY drag car had to put resistor in line to fool it in to thinking it had a sender connected.
Has the dash been programed that should turn off abs and srs lights and set the tacho to correct engine.
I had to disassemble the dash and unsolder the srs led as the dash I have is a preproduction one and software fail to turn light off.

So rather then start a new thread, looking at the vy & vz cluster diagrams it appears that the trigger for the indicators is an earth trigger for the cluster?
