Cool, thanks. It'd be helpful if you named them as to what the application was. If you know which type of P05 a, b or c and an OSID. Something like (example only) P05b_12612345_Year_Brand_Engine_Trans.bin or something like that.

will do on the rest of them they are all Pontiac grand prix's 2004 to 2008 3800 engine and 4t65e tranny's
the 04 files are p05a and the 05 file is a p05b with OSID: 12603217

This one thought it was can only p05c with a newer test build of pcm hammer from the 20th not sure may have just been user error on my part i manually switched it to p05b and it read

Is there any way a 'b' bin could have been written to it beforehand? I have observed vpw coming alive on the c if you force a b bin in, and then need to write it as a b over vpw to be a c again. maybe that hardware came out with different protocols.

I am thinking that the 08 grand prix's are the only can only cars. late 2005 to late 2007 are both can and vpw and late 03 to early 05 are vpw only
