Re: Chrysler NGC4 (MPC5554MZP112 CPU)
After I can clone mine, I'll make an attempt with my file. The one I believe is the NGC4. Looks like it has the JTAG header, is CAN bus, and don't think it uses much as far as co-processors or whatever. The effort can be for my custom software and OEM calibration changes.Tazzi wrote: Thu May 14, 2026 7:26 am pulling it apart in Ghidra, assigning RAM/registers and start pulling it apart.

Turns out gasoline dissolves the goop holding the PCB in.
Expect some rear PCB pictures of NGC4 tomorrow.

Me too.
I just hope to confirm the lack of fixed function logic, like the Delco CIC.
Then it'll be the one for my custom code.

It should be relatively "easy".
Unless I'm missing something, this is a definite "start here in .bin".

BAM is the NXP init code. It's not Chrysler code. It's not going to tell you anything useful.

Starting point is everything. I'm focusing on scratch code.

Best pictures I could get of the back components.
TJA1040 high speed CAN tranceiver
https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/data-sheet/TJA1040.pdf VN800S ? Not sure about that last digit. High side driver?
https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/vn800ps-e.pdf ? 95320wq EEPROM "SKIM" stuff might be there, apparently that's how GPEC2 does it.
https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/m95320-w.pdf V1124 dual VR "conditioner" Likely transmission speed sensors.
