you got to oil the outside of the tube. then it goes down easy. I had the same problem.

Also had same issue sticking hoses down to the auto trans pan and learned the oiling of the tube trick then.
I drain autos by pumping the oil out with a tube rather than making a mess and hurting my shoulders trying to do it by taking the pan off.

yeh it had oil on it by the time i tried a couple of times just wouldn't go through.

I have big aftermarket cooler on my trans so i just unplug the line and let it pump it out.

how ofter is your drain intervals? oxidation is typical of high temps or long drain intervals.

if you use a high anti wear package oil, there typically a trade off for the detergents and anti oxidant additive package so the drain interval is reduced.

normally an oil with high anti wear will need to be changed at 5k or less.

5k changes, just oil nothing else.

If you check my old oil tests from the other mob the 5/50 which this one is indicates the same, but 15/50 is fine. So Even though cold starts are better with 5/50 i might be better off with 15/50

probably the oil then.

Just compared my results with yours. seems mostly the same, mine slightly better in the metal wear department though.

I have a little more lead content as my bottom end thumps about on 1st cold start up. Oil always drain back to the sump even with anti drain filter. :?: Filter is always empty when I remove it.
