Its a 24 pin header. How many are used depends on the application, in your case the minimum would be 18 wires of the 24.

But I dont think this module is the one you guys will be using?

What coils are the best ones to look out for with this setup. There's heaps of d585 on eBay cheap?

any LSx coils will work fine, there are some that have better spark than others, ie. the LS2 or truck coils, but as far as the module running them its no different which you get.

My understanding is that the truck coils w heat sinks should be avoided.

I believe it involves the dwell. VL 400 could provide a more detailed explanation.

The standard LS2 coils are suppose to be the best to use with this module.

The truck ones have some issue with triggering early once the dwell reaches a certain amount iirc.

VL will confirm this when he next chimes in.
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.

I tried using the truck coils with heat sink on a CNP conversion for an LT-5. They did not work however the "square" coils did.
