Re: DELCOS NEW RIDE
80% is fine, assuming thats the highest it gets to

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: DELCOS NEW RIDE
79% Duty cycle on 60LB injectors even slightly rich is ~ 440-450HP worth of fuel

Re: DELCOS NEW RIDE
hehe we had worked out off our last drag times that we had 440hp avgas instantly runs rich as soon as you put it in compared to petrol so we must of gained a bit in the whole process find out on saterday if the rain stays away might up the timing some more conservative 15 degrees up top right now.if it does 10's it will come home and go on the dyno as it sits for a power run and see if we have any soft spots in the tune

Re: DELCOS NEW RIDE
Lead in the avgas will poison your wideband making it slow and read too rich.
I guess it is something worth keeping an eye on, the richer your tune the faster it will be contaminated.

Re: DELCOS NEW RIDE
yeah should last a while though lots of people running widebands to tune leaded fuel its never in for long in this like 20-40km at a time i have spares too
just have to drop the front swaybar and make sure the drivers side top control arm on the diff is still attached to the chassis and not causeing the axle tramp and then shes ready to run hope the hoosiers can hold the track with all the extra power dont want to have to lift off the gas
