thought i better take a look at a log from todays tuning seems 60lb injectors are maybe not gonna last long they are at 79.6% DC
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem

80% is fine, assuming thats the highest it gets to :P

79% Duty cycle on 60LB injectors even slightly rich is ~ 440-450HP worth of fuel :wtf: :driving:

hehe we had worked out off our last drag times that we had 440hp avgas instantly runs rich as soon as you put it in compared to petrol so we must of gained a bit in the whole process find out on saterday if the rain stays away might up the timing some more conservative 15 degrees up top right now.if it does 10's it will come home and go on the dyno as it sits for a power run and see if we have any soft spots in the tune

Lead in the avgas will poison your wideband making it slow and read too rich.
I guess it is something worth keeping an eye on, the richer your tune the faster it will be contaminated.

yeah should last a while though lots of people running widebands to tune leaded fuel its never in for long in this like 20-40km at a time i have spares too :mrgreen: just have to drop the front swaybar and make sure the drivers side top control arm on the diff is still attached to the chassis and not causeing the axle tramp and then shes ready to run hope the hoosiers can hold the track with all the extra power dont want to have to lift off the gas :thumbup:

well we were rained off so if the weather looks good we are going on a roadtrip this weekend to the next closest strip at taupo motorsport park on sunday higher altitude as well be interesting :mrgreen:
