Re: The1's Daily
they'd wanna be good for the price. Ive had both white GM & Blue ACDelco filters and get the same oil pressure with both.

Re: The1's Daily
I came across a comment from delco about the anti drain valve in ryco ones.
I am sure he will chime in on this.
I am not sure if its the filler or so air leaking in from somewhere. I can't compare to genuine filters as they don't even have anti drain.
you can get K&N pro series (PS) filter for $7. Same filter as the HP filters but more OEM style.

Re: The1's Daily
i used to allways use ryco untill they started making my car rattle on startup and some started failing internally.everyone says a filter is a filter but nowdays thats far from the truth.what was once metal is now made from cardboard or plastic.a quick look inside the threaded hole you can tell a good from a bad.and the v6 has a lot of cold start oil pressure over 100psi another reason to use a good quality steel filter you may not loose oil pressure but you may well be running continously with 0 filtration when the cardboard ones take a shit.the price difference between a cheapo and a top quality one is less than $5
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem
Re: The1's Daily
genuine is less in total when purchasing a box full

Re: The1's Daily
well that might explain the rattle and screech i get on cold starts.
as always my filters are always empty when left for few hours.
should i get the PS-1001 or the HP-1001 ?
And where from thats not ebay prices?
