gts was getting boring to drive and was fealing tired so i thought ide do a quick 5 minute tune last night to blast around on .seems it liked it went back to early series 1 vn tune and added a few tweaks its like a new car :mrgreen: cruises so smooth seems the memcal that it had in it wasnt for that engine series so many changes in the first vn engines looks s1 but had S1.5 tune
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem

the VR turbo got a bit of tuning this week its turning into another VB rips the tyres off the road at 120kmh in 3rd on the auto at 12psi definately cant feed the vr the same timing as the VB vn v6 its running around 4 degrees less timing after it was rattling at high revs so bad you could hear it pinging in the car hardy little engine the buick if that was an emotec it would be dead :thumbup:

has the vr got different compression to the vb ?

yeah more comp and different cam same kit same turbo etc its appearing much like an ecotec in the amount of timing it will take sort of. makes up my mind that ill be building a low comp engine when i do series 2 build for my car :mrgreen:

been getting stuck in to the 454 wagon again firewalls ready for paint tomorrow so we can fit the engine and trans.
man i love spray putty smooth as a babys bum
straight off the gun ready to sand not that it needs it LOL then paint
