Ive got 2 12" subs in my turbo vy ive noticed when ive got wideband plugged in the car can run a bit off with stereo cranking. Probably pulling voltage down and changing injector duty cycle or similar.

If you’re getting voltage drop then do a big 3 upgrade, then alternator and lastly battery. There is calculators you can use based on what you’re running, which will tell you what you need ect. Oem’s just run bare minimum when it comes to wiring. So once you start adding extra 12volt gear it all needs to be taken into account. I look at it like, big 3 gives the alternator the best chance it’s got. Then the battery is just a storage container, so no point if you can’t charge it or full it back up quick enough, so that’s where the upgraded alternator comes in.

I’ve been in a few cars with nice audio. Stand outs for me were my mates and my cousins cars. My cousin actually worked at an audio place and saved up for like 2-3 years for his setup even at cost price. My mates was a cheap slap together backyard job but done right. Both completely different though if that makes sense. My cousins car you could turn it up and didn’t feel that loud bass wise. But you could walk 3 blocks away and still hear ever single sound crystal clear, the sound was like being at a concert ect. My mates on the other hand was bass. You could only turn it up for a couple seconds. It would fuck with your breathing and make your eye balls start itching. Look out the windows and you couldn’t see shit. Me personally I liked my cousins setup, as I like to listen to a wide range of music ect.
