Between 125MHz, Arduino IDE, and ChatGPT, I'm sure it's easier than what all you've been up to.

Perhaps. But wait until you have a decent amount of time on a real engine before you make a call on that. The challenge with AI is not writing, but usually debugging edge cases when they pop up later and you don't know where to start. Perfect conditions on a test bench with good stable signal quality is different to a noisy electrical environment on an engine with spark plug RFI. It's not to say it wont work and you've made fantastic progress. But the prototype to real world challenge is still ahead of you.

I doubt I'll have much of an edge case from code. My shitty voltage divider input board or my loopy jumper wires on the output board though, maybe.

Those jumps on the Pico. Could explain what I seen on oscilloscope while testing my ECU code. Watching injector output as I sweep MAP sensor input. Smooth, jump, smooth, jump, smooth, jump. Bilinear interpolation. Hope the Pico 2 is better with that, or anything else my code will just work on. Main thing is micros() using a 64 bit timer What matters most with ADC for my code, is straight line consistency; the value essentially gets translated to something else anyway.

"top secret software"
Would love to see that specifically. Wouldn't be surprised if it was real close to mine as far as logical construct.
