Unsure if this helps

But I started working on this yesterday you could fork and look at or clone

https://github.com/KingAiCodeForge/King ... C_Compiler

Adding a assembler but the same concept and method I did to make this and layout could be used for other ECUs and processors.

Dont want to thread hijack so you might need to start another but your page says 'if anyone has documentation on the HC11 object code encoding or a working cross-assembler, that would unblock this.'

you might want to look at the gnu compiler for hc11/hc12 here:

https://www.gnu.org/software/m68hc11/m68hc11_gcc.html

Its likely standard gnu formats elf, obj and raw bin can be handled.
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396

I just stumbled across this thread. Going to read it through its entirety. I have ran a 24x engine using my open source ecu code. Here are a few links you might find interesting.

For my decoder, I just log the time stamps of digital interrupt transitions, then this secondary function decodes the position at a specific time given as input.
https://github.com/FL0WL0W/ReluctorOper ... rGM24x.cpp

My scheduler takes this position as input, then schedules the ignition/injection events based on the position and when those events are going to happen next
https://github.com/FL0WL0W/EFIGenie/blo ... nition.cpp

Also i may know what is wrong with your crank sensor. try using a 58x sensor from a newer 2007+ gen 4 engine. Looks like you have a custom trigger wheel and that is actually a bit different than how the 24x trigger wheel is constructed. the 24x trigger wheel doesn't have missing teeth. it has staggered teeth (see image below). The 58x trigger wheels are actually teeth and match closer to what your trigger wheel looks like and their sensor should do a better job at picking up the signal

From getting some crank cam correlation waveforms on customer vehicles, I noticed something odd. If I set the trigger point too low (2 volts vs 4), it seems to trigger erratically off nothing, but if set to near max, it triggers fine. I probably just need to embrace some sort of hardware filter more sophisticated than passive RC filters.
My oscilloscope can measure some high speed stuff, so it's all around odd.
Between work and money... and prison recently 🙄, haven't touched this in a while.

You'll see how unorthodox I went. The shortest logic I could between binary code and fuel spray/spark command. And no table switching.
