im not sure but somehow it manages to lift the front wheels off the ground with a T5 gearbox from memory :) been quite a few years since I saw it at Gunnedah!

hahahah yeah I do recall there was a lot of motor and very little room anywhere around it!

Here's an under bonnet pic.
Not sure on the HP, it's been a few years since it was last fired in anger, until last weekend at Gunnedah, it ran a 7.70 on the 1/8th but the MAP was u/s so it was over fueling(dribbling out the exhaust). It's best 1/4 et was 11.9@116mph, weighs about 950kg with driver. Yes it is a T5 Commodore box, 4.1 gears, 26" M/T, 5000revs, get off the clutch then hang on. :driving:

Looks like a nice simple, yet effective setup.

Drag cars are so much different to circuit cars. Can't go around corners with the front wheels up in the air like that. Lol.

Yes, that's the one i have and it works fine.

In your travels, did you come across any flat top Pistons for the Buick. I'm chasing a set and can't find any.
