I was actually looking for info to show me detail about my BCM I stuffed up & came across this (attached Jpeg) it is purely for PPK value in dash clusters VT- VXs2 & poss more?
so that atleast shows the differences changed in dash value for each model/tyre/driveline but as referenced earlier the PPK value for PCM should be the same for all the models!
I'm going to log this problem child tomorrow & if the PCM has the right value & logging at original correct speed & then I'll data trace when exactly each gear change is happening & if it all looks right I have no idea what's causing the issue & will just change the PCM PPK value for it to eleviate the problem although it's not the correct way it will at least be global!
Thanks jervies too, but we don't all have luxury of a tech2!

Haha i completely missed the fact that there was more than the first page! So basicly your just having problems with it hitting rev limiter in 3rd before it shifts yeah? Iv had this problem in my van as i had 4.4:1 diff ratio, i never fixed it at the time. For memory one of the tables has the shift point in 3rd for anything over say 40 %(a guess) tps the shift speed is 220(another guess) witch the car cant actually reach that speed in that gear. When u use the tech2 it only does the dash it wont change any shift points ect (youve already done this yes?) if i get time ill try find the name of the table, iv seen it in the vt xdf

Re: Correcting Speedo's?
Jervies, all good & mostly sorted now, turns out I think the trans actually has a problem & is missing 3rd gear all together, but no fault codes other than the PCS which is due to the B&M shifter controller which adds resistance to the solenoid to allow more flow & extra pressure & thus tells the PCM PCS control error... but if switch to allow normal control this goes!
other than that id was showing a quad driver fault 1 & 2 & not sure what control it has?
But when going out of 2nd it went from 3500 rpm to 2000 rpm & felt like a slight delay like it was trying to engage 3rd but missed it & then just goes to 4th!
& the story continues.. but hopefully it's at least half figured now!

Not Sure if anyone else has this but thought I'd post up the schematics of the healer!
Or you can just change the PPK value in the dash cluster, as I've tried the 2 PPK settings in PCM & neither seem to adjust it for dash cluster!
