Got a question regarding injector size.
will the stock 777 injectors keep up with mild ecotec build? like comp stage 2 cam, and some mild head work and good exhaust system
been given an estimate of 180-190kw at the flywheel. I read that the 777 can make 40hp per injector. does any of this sound right? To me its seems like the injectors wont keep up.

i would go bigger, i get to about 75-80% duty cycle with 777's in my ecotec with rockers. try LS1 EV6 injectors perhaps 0 280 155 931

yeah they should work well, they are 24lb as apposed to the 19 or 20lb of the stockers i believe.

14 at 3 bar 21 nearly 22 at 3.5 bar is what I can find listed on various injector listings.

And in $12P its just a matter of setting the correct injector rate to suit?
I think it would be a good idea to get the better injectors and set it up with stock engine first rather than throwing everything together as a completed worked engine.
Small steps yeah?
as for the car, the body is nearly ready for a complete coat of primer, need two small holes welded in the boot seal lip first.
have already replaced one door due to a dodgy re-skin job. last night started on the bonnet, well than needs replacing too. the whole thing has a thick coat of bog over it and there is no evidence of primer used, some rust found too. What I don't get is the bonnet metal looks straight from the inside so why is there bog and why did they grind off all the EPD coating for? thats why its rusting.
easier to get a 2nd hand straight and unmolested bonnet me thinks. Fixing other people mistakes its great! and this is my first body/paint job ever and seems I know way more than this person did
