there was some NOS ones on ebay but can't find them how. iirc they are also stainless steel. They looked better made that those above but still oem looking.

Yeah those are the ones, not for all HSVs but for the special ones. L34 Torana did the same thing with a flange high up as the mods were free from the first joint for racing, probably the same deal for Group A?

5000i models had full stainless exhaust I believe, not sure about others.

they look like genie extractors there shit the double pipe flange that bolt in the middle of the flange to the rest of the exhaust is in the worst spot on both sides you can't get spanners on them or sockets can't even fit the nuts in there properly I've got genies on mine nd can't wait to get rid of them

That was he rule for group a as well, after the first join.
So on vn group a its about 50mm from the head. Also head ports were cast round and bigger.
