Factory uses two resistors switching them in at different temperatures, 3998 ohms at less than 50 degC and a 348 ohm above. This is to get a more accurate reading due to the non-linearity of the resistive sensor.

Being that you are using it for a transmission cooler fan just use the low value (standard values closest are 330 or 390 ohm) and calculate it from the known resistance vs temp table.

this might help you out, dad made this for me ages ago when I was trying to work out coolant sensor readings for using on a innovate data logger.

Very handy, thanks for posting it up. I have used it heaps over the years when setting up temp monitoring with the logger.

Was there ever a version of Flashtool released that defined the spare analog inputs as options for axis in flex output editor?
