Re: New to Tunerpro, assistance needed with a few things :-)
my suggestion would be to put the ve map back to how it was before get the wideband on it and see what afr's it has at idle, then if its too lean uncrease the injrate till its right and see how much it has to change
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Yeah that is definitely the way to go. I need the wideband happening. You were saying in an earlier post that pin D8 is used? Which pin exactly is D8. I couldnt find a diagramHolden202 wrote:my suggestion would be to put the ve map back to how it was before get the wideband on it and see what afr's it has at idle, then if its too lean uncrease the injrate till its right and see how much it has to change

d8 will be on the large plug on the ecm, and its the side that DOESN't have the clip on it if you look closely at the backs of the plugs there should be numbers and letters labelling them
d8 will have nothing in it so you will need to rape a pin from a spare loom for it.
you should try and get a scanner pro log of it with the stock ve table in it .... i'd love to see the results.

Thanks heaps mate. I will try get the wideband hooked into pin d8 tomorrow and I will send some logs hopefully with some wideband results
You have all been a big help

try this ADX for tp5. I havent tested it but I based it on an old one that did work, then updated it with all the settings of the latest version and changed to suit 3 bar. see how you go.

Hi Jayme. I just tried that adx and it does work in TP5! Thanks mate. The log file isnt saving for some reason, it fails to save in TP5. I can save log files in scannerpro but not that partiular adx as it seems to be set up for TP5. The wideband is working fine now. I am seeing a persistent knock of 6deg at idle. Better check to see if something is rattling on the engine

It is idling at a pretty consistent 13.5 and is running fairly well with the stock ve table. I might take it for a gentle first drive after I have a quick look underneath.

Re: New to Tunerpro, assistance needed with a few things :-)
so the stock ve table with the .040 injrate is 13.5 ? thats good then shouldn't be knocking then unless there is a rattle like you say .... 6 degrees retard is going to make it mighty doughy!
