And after all that development it's the same story as the original VN V8 with great flowing heads they fuck it up and use the bananas ! Wtf were they thinking ? It's like they have 2 separate design teams one on inlet one on heads

My best mate is an accountant, but sometimes they can't see the forest for the trees if you know what I mean...

And there was larry perkins special castings too. Different webbing around the mains and higher exhaust ports on the heads. 15mm higher from memory. Not sure if 4 bolt mains but you'd think they would of been. 50 blocks and 100 heads and that was it. Then he had his wn version of the group a intake. Think Tom Walkinshaw hooked him up with some UK mob he put there top cover on it with a throttle body each side off a car called a Giacolotto (spelling)

No worries, but I feel I need to set the record straight. They aren't my docs, I downloaded them from another forum that I frequent.
When you mentioned it I remembered I had them. That's all.

Those Larry Perkins blocks had "LP" cast in to them at the back so there easy to spot, reinforced webbing and definatly 4 bolt mains, be a nice bit of gear to have, these were the motors he was running when they outlawed him and made him go over to the chev V8, a shame

Are you sure this is true? From what I read around here the intake runner length of the bananas give good low down torque which would improve driveability quite a bit for those driving on the road and not racing. They make sense to me, but then so does changing them for track work.
