Yes if your running 12p on modded 808 or a 165 you will need to pin to suit. The pins are in the 12 zip. Not all are different but some are. Its worth putting the pin outs side by side.

Is a v6 commodore map sensor the same as a v8 or do I need to get one for a v8 sensor.

Thanks for that I have just received my nvram and Aldl interface there is a small yellow wire in the box but no instructions for it or how to fit it into the 1277165 I read somewhere that it is soldered in somewhere

Being as I have changed the pin out of the 165 to suit the nvram If I put the original eprom with the old bin on it on the nvram will that affect the nvram bin and running the car

I have repined the loom to the 12p pin out but the fuel pump doesn't run and I could only find one diagnostic pin with a white and black wire.

Do you have the polarity correct for the fuel pump relay? Maybe tbjs ecu switches opposite to the old model.

You only need one diagnostic wire. Not sure on the wire color off top of my head but that and a earth pin will give you comms.

The only wire I can't place from the old 165 is B2 fuel pump signal it has one that goes to the aldl and if I supply 12v the pump runs all the other wires haven't been changed

The pump runs for 15 seconds after I stop cranking it over but won't run when the key is turned on the 12p only has 2 wires for the map sensor brown and black but the sensor has 3 black brown and purple

third map sensor wire is +5v joined to tps sensor 5V feed.as for the fuel pump the ecu sends 12v power to the fuel pump relay its the only output thats positive switching.
