You'll need a dyno and a 5 gas analyser to do that and yes you will see a difference. Obviously all manufacturers have done what they had to to meet the ADR's the cheapest way possible and for many years cars suffered power loss due to their choices and knowledge at the time. I was referring to Australian cars with the 1976 date. I think we all know the US was well ahead of us with emission control.
