Yeah but that still makes it sound like your bricking and recovering. That isn't normal. They shouldn't brick so easily / regularly if your setup is right and files are good.

If you have to socket the ECUs to recover them then you have bricked them.

Post up the file you're trying to write, and someone will point out what's wrong with it.

It is 99.999% a problem with the file you are trying to write

My guess is you are trying to write a non flash bin to a flash ecu.
If it isn't a vx,vu,vy N/A base bin file it will brick it.

there is nothing wrong with the files because when i wite these tunes to the chip directly and put it inside the ecu it work perfectly

If you had honestly successfully made your own real time flash ECU, that worked fine, you would be able to debug your bricking problem yourself very easily.

nope, the OSE programmer actually chucks a wobly because there is no chip in the ECU

He is using an ostrich with an adapter soldered to the board (hopefully he shares the video).

I wonder if that is what is causing the problem?
