sure have!

hypatec flat tops, will give about 11.6:1 with VN/VP heads on standard bore. will be more on VR heads.

cheap as f**k too.

yeah just ran it though a CR calc and its 11.73:1 on VN/VP head assuming stock bore, deck etc...

12.19:1 on VR heads, same scenario.

even low boost and E85 you will win big time with CR like this. Go even higher if you can!

So if you deck 0.010 of each block and head, go to 20 over on the piston, you will be up to 13:1 with VR heads.

Only problem will be making the engine live. Lol. Out of interest, what sort of power at say 10psi on the simulator?

it will live fine on ethanol, no detonation motor is happy.

I did a test back there somewhere? was about 420hp on 15 psi with 13:1 if I recall.

guys int he states are running upto 20:1 on NA and around 16:1 with 30+psi boost on E85 on v8 engines. As far as I have read, detonation hasn't happen yet.

here is a rather famous car.

http://translate.google.com.au/translat ... rev=search

vw 80s golf with 2L engine, 4 bar of boost and makes 1150Hp 1100 odd Nm.

uses E85. try doing that with 98 oct unleaded

Bad news for anyone wanting to do a high comp buick. Those pistons are NLA unless you want to order 250 sets :)

yeah they are the ones im getting. Hoping to get the ACL ones as they come in 20 and 40 over, the mahle ones only 40 over which is unnecessary for bore than virtually dont wear.
