Intake gaskets? A vac leak near the head can have a leaner cyl with a misfire.

Is there a way to check this without ripping the blower etc off?

A V engine is harder as it could be the underside of the intake where you cant get to drawing air in, but can spray carby cleaner or degreaser around the port (normally need a fair bit). If the misfire clears up its a vac leak issue - gasket or even injector seals going hard.

if you have one of those laser temp probes, you can at least identify which cylinder is misfiring by measuring the temp of each exhaust port. you will see one clearly different to the rest.

Will get some tubing and redo all the vacuum lines near the TB etc, can already see some cracks in the one that goes to the reg

Have a good look at the purge line under the t/b as this is glued on factory and if it's been removed and not reglued they can come off.
