Unfortunately I don't have a throttle body here that I can look at. You could examine the port you think it goes to by making sure it is seeing constant vacuum and is on the engine side of the butterfly plate. If you are not sure you can always tee it in with the map sensor line, both see changes in vacuum.

there is purge and vac together, these are for the charcoal canister lines on a stock commodore. the regulator normally plugs into the hose on the elbow near your brake booster hose. then there is a smaller one in the same spot which is normally the air line for the A/C controls.

at the end of the day as long as the reg see's manifold vacuum it doesn't matter where its connected.

Well listen to this. Had to hot wire the fuel pump and it fired up straight away. started off at fast idle for a couple of seconds then settled right down. Sounds awesome. I haven't had time to hook it up to tuner pro as its 39 degrees here today the shed is probably somewhere near 50.

Congratulations sounds good and the throttle response instant. Good starting program. You don't have much time to finish the tune this year.

Thanks guys, yeah I was surprised as anything that it ran so well. I was expecting it to spit and fart and carry on and take hours of stuffing around to get it to idle properly. I just need to get the fuel pump wiring sorted out. I reckon it maybe a faulty relay as I remember being only able to get power to the fuel pump brown wire by running a jumper cable across the oil pressure switch

Michael Heffernan might be a distant relation but I don't know him. Cheers

Hooray it's a boy. Fantastic to see it start and run so well. Is that the std Commodore program?
