Re: Vlad's VP executive (Now VR)
then its the aftermarket one, original have barbs about 5 or 10mm back and are same size barb as the in/outlets on the engine.
the barbs being at the very end seem to exacerbate the problem. The walls of the aftermarket are really really thin, fraction of the originals.
I can crush these with my hand they are that thin.
The one I pulled from the wagon has its fittings squished in like an hourglass from just the hose clamp pressure, never seen this before until these crappy end tanks saturated the market.
They have done this obviously to save money on materials.
I am going to try holden for genuine rad or end tanks, if no luck then from rare spares for the end tanks. Guy from speedspare say rarespare sell them and its a genuine holden item supposedly.

have been experimenting with different glues on an old steering wheel, concluding none work very well for the application.
read few people recommend this stuff, said to be excellent results.

Re: Vlad's VP executive (Now VR)
got the glue, worked really well !
so looks pretty much done with steering wheel fixed.
fitted most of the exhaust, Y pipe will go in latter once its gets the outlet up sized.
I have the genuine radiator end tanks on their way, so if they have good barbs then that will be that problem solved.

Got the y pipe enlarged on the exit. Thanks HQ355 for the help
still have the cat to mod as the catback needs rotating , so the flange will be ground off the cat and new one welded in place but 20º or so rotated.
anyway, with the exhaust test fitted i decided to run the wideband and see how things were.
well engine runs like a bucket of shit at certain load points, here is why.
see the target and the actual wide band. this engine breaths now!

Re: Vlad's VP executive (Now VR)
lol if you start recording in the correct orientation instead of rotating it mid-record, you wont have to turn your monitor sideways to view it
it saves the orientation when you first press record.

I already rotated it on youtube but hasn't taken effect for some reason. video plays right way up on my PC.
stupid iphones, useless POS lol my photos at randomly are upside down when uploaded to sites but right way up on the PC and on the phone.
Other people that get this issue also have iphones lol.
it should flip when ever youtube decides to update the edit.

Re: Vlad's VP executive (Now VR)
is there a tool you can use to calc the VE table based on the wb history logged?

Re: Vlad's VP executive (Now VR)
you might have to do some work on this, but if you put in the wideband readings from the histogram aswell as your current VE table it will spit out a new one for you .... also make sure the AFR table matches whats in your tune!!
theres a $83 tab in it, thats probably the closest starting point for a VR

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Ive used that spreadsheet its very handy, also if you use the adx with calve from the 12P zip you can get the new ve when playing back logs.
