Can you give me a run down on how to set it up and use it?
Sounds just like what I need. I was thinking how to filter out AE and DE last night.

Load up the Petrol with calcVE.adx and load your log.
Then click on show data monitors tab to bring up the monitor screen.
Right click on the monitor window to bring up the list and scroll to the bottom and select CalcVE.
Can be very handy as you can find parts of the log without any AE or DE influence. It doesnt account for any interpolation.
Great for fine tuning. The spreadsheet of Holden202T is a great tool aswell ive used both.
The car im doing at the minute ive used the spreadsheet first from the wideband history average in tuner pro when i first started to get the VE in the ball park. Now i just use the calc ve in the data monitors and a bit on the go while driving in real time (when the owner is driving)

just thinking out loud here, i wonder if the log has to be recorded with that caleVE adx? I just use that one anyway so never done it any other way.

in generalthats only a problem if the items you are trying to "calc" are not defined in the adx, and in this case if you are already logging target afr, wideband afr and current ve then its got all the info in there you needd for the calc ve item to work....
also if you wanted to add it to any other ADX you just need the 3 above and you can do the calc and should work on previously recorded logs.

on the home stretch now.
Just radiator, tyres and wheel alignment to sort, and then just a hand from someone to drop the bonnet back on and I can do the final touch with a new bonnet insulation mat.
RWC, rego and then fun times
Once again big thanks to HQ355 for helping me mod the exhaust.

very quite for a sports system! I like it. I took it a bit over 4k in the video but so quiet, the VP at 4k is about to explode with the racket it makes with same extractors and stock exhaust.

I found what that annoying whining sound is finally. thought it was the ps pump, was still there after I replaced it. wasn't until I used the hose to the ear method and found its the pulley bearing on the AC comp. The noise is being transmitted right through the block so the sound comes from the top of the engine. The noise stops as soon as I run the AC.
lucky I have a brand new bearing left over from the abandoned VP project
Figured I can take the pulley off the spare VP AC knock the bearing out and get the pulley re-plated with some other stuff, cluck the new bearing in and change over the pulley when I do the radiator.

not much for updates lately.
My end tanks were not supplied due to being faulty stock apparently. Had another closed look a the problem on the rad, so what I find is under the barb (lack of) bit inside the fitting, its actually recessed under it so the actual barb is only 1mm give or take thick and the rest of the fitting is about 2.5 ish. I can bend the barb over into the fitting with my thumb. No wonder its keeps working it's off.
Gonna bite the bullet and just get a custom alloy rad made from a mob in QLD. At least it will last the life of the car. That also will mean I won't have a single china made part on the car
I did get some odd bits int he mail.
So I replaced the reverse switch as you can see the old one's terminals were hanging by a thread.
