Needless to say its replaced now. Although I did strip one of the bolts. Not alot of fun. Got it out eventually.

turns out the other CV is the same

so that came out. the replacement 2nd handy i had is also damaged so have to go get another.

and the missus VX is not running right either. gets the shakes up and idling really badly. comes and goes. odd. i'll put a post elsewhere though.

so the CVs are sorted. thats all good
fun job that. not. although in saying that to get the 8mm hex out of the diff end removing the rear wheel and going straight in is definately a good method. also cleaning the head of the 8mm hex of oil and dirt and shit first is recommended.

so while they were out i fitted these, KYBs and King SLs

put these together as the passenger side was shat and i did the drivers anyway. didnt want it coming apart at 150KMH + anyway

started putting these together, noting that there appears to be a little marker in the top of the tower bearing seat - anyone know how that should be oriented?

can't get nothing past you. correct. pipe bender die. that was my trial. works OK, but my radius is fucked on it. so i have v2 coming.

no burns HQ.....was covered up well and good.
