Anyway here is my next project, maybe in a few years once I got steady work and heap of cash to throw at it.

Did nearly 4000km round trip in 3 days with a friend to get this.

VP S, absolutely mint showroom interior apart from the usual collapsing rear section of the roof lining.

Dead straight body with 100% original paint, paint is good but not mint. It is the best you will ever see one of these though because the paint was shockingly bad for UV damage on these models.

Has factory FE2, nothing replaced on it. better handling feeling than the VR lol. Factory 1" master and dual booster. Brakes suck ass lol, worse than stock standard booster with 15/16 mc, who'd of thunked it?

Came with factory brochure book, imho the best part of the whole deal. Never seen before literature which states all the assumption I made about the design of these cars exactly as I thought. unknown specs to the internet also in there. Going to post page by page soon on here. Real good read.

Its got tons of power and amazingly I got from Mt Cotton to Newcastle with 8L of fuel spare. I used 55L to do 702km. All though the shit Pacific hwy, with hundreds of road works, start stop, about 300 speed cameras I reckon, giving it a hard run though the hills and off "End road works" signs. never again will I go that way.

Yet I still got average 7.8L/100 in an auto! amazing!

Really happy with it. Was a great buy.

Im generally not a fan of the term "mint" but it does apply to that car!

the term is thrown around a lot. I personally would not call it mint, interior yes but the paint is not, has a little patina.

Its not mint unless it goes through my treatment

its caked in bugs, oh? phone so shit can't even see them lol.

they are on the bumper and grille. you dont get much hitting the bonnet on these cars as the air flow defects everything off the bonnet.

Even small birds get caught in the flow and defect over the bonnet and screen without even touching the car. Thats a Holden design feature

bit of an update.

So far 4 logs and I got this far. Running much better, up on power and driveability and sounds nice and crispy/angry.

Still have few spots in the VE I haven't got logged yet but soon should have it sorted. This is not the very latest, I did some on the fly just after this around the idle areas as they weren't really logged but you get a good picture of the changes.

getting there.

It needed fating up here and there.

Also used VE learn to smooth out some of the areas , just to see how it works more than anything. Works pretty good but its a slow process. it only makes small adjustments at a time.

Kinda jumping ahead but wondering what would be the best way to tackle the spark table? Just so i have an idea before I get there.
