Re: How to convert a 202 to Delco
I'm very interested in this conversion. Hows the fuel economy and the reliability after this? I'm assuming they start easier.

Re: How to convert a 202 to Delco
put it this way, drivability and cold starting is not different to a vn v6 commodore!
as far as economy, it was a fair bit better than the carby, but I didn't really do accurate comparison between vk efi and the vn efi, but it gained probably 1L/100kms over the VK EFI.
I have no reason to tell anyone not to do it!

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Thanks mate. Did you start with a Camira tune or V6 tune?

The base tune is here;
https://pcmhacking.net/forums/view ... ?f=7&t=375
It is tuned for methanol, so adjustments would have to be made to it also!

Sorry I didn't worry mentioning that as I thought it was set to suit cross flow falcon or something, my bad now cluttering your thread sorry!
Re: How to convert a 202 to Delco
Thanks sounds like a good option, a Turbo 700 4 speed could top it right off! Wonder if the kick down would reach?
Re: How to convert a 202 to Delco
even if it doesnt, the throttle off the V8 is at the front of the motor, the v8 kick down cable would most definitely reach.
